What do you need?
Built by locals. Open a board to read it, or use the link under it to add your own. A person reviews each post before it goes live. Official alerts are the one exception, because officials post them directly with an access code.
Who's behind it
Linn County Local, a Hwy 36 Labs project, keeps the site running. Locals keep it worth visiting: the events, listings, lost pets and ideas come from neighbors putting up what they know about their own town. With no one posting, there would be nothing to read.
How current it is
The calendar refreshes every few hours. Job openings are read each morning from the employers' own websites, and every listing links back to its source.
